Last week the Intensive English Program hosted our annual student ice cream social. This was the ESL students’ first time to have an event in the Dean’s Commons, and what a wonderful change it was to be indoors! Students enjoyed lunch and an assortment of frozen treats from the comfort of our beautiful (and air-conditioned) common space. Because this event was in the middle of the day, morning and afternoon students from all levels had the opportunity to mingle with each other and make a few new friends within the program. Nothing brings people together quite like ice cream.
