Thanksgiving Came Early for ESL Students

ESL ThankgivingOur Intensive English students had much to be thankful for last week, when the Language Programs staff hosted our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Grand Hall in the Rice Memorial Center. All of the ESL students, as well as our instructors and staff, enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal, complete with roasted turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, and of course, pumpkin pie. At the end of the meal, the program’s instructors led the entire group of more than 200 students and staff in singing Thanksgiving songs. For many of our students, this was their first time to celebrate a traditional American Thanksgiving.

We would like to wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!
