Last Friday, August 9, we celebrated the last beam being placed at the top of our new home, the Anderson-Clarke Center. As part of the ceremony, a cypress tree was hoisted to the roof of the building to symbolize growth and bring luck. In attendance to see the progress were Linda Anderson, Susie and Melbern Glasscock, Howard T. Tellepsen, as well other representatives of the Anderson and Clarke families, our advisory board, our staff, our builder, Tellepsen, and the architectural firm, Overland Partners.
It was the first time that most of the staff could actually go inside the new structure and we capped off the tour by signing a few of the beams on the first floor for posterity.
Just a few more months until move in!
