Eighteen students in the Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives (LINE) program recently earned their certificate in nonprofit leadership. The program is designed for executive directors who want to move their organizations to the next level of success and for experienced professionals who aspire to leadership positions in nonprofit organizations.
The 2012 class consisted of members from several local nonprofit organizations, including The Periwinkle Foundation, The Methodist Hospital, DePelchin Children’s Center, the Houston Ballet and Presbyterian School.
“I have taken so much back to my organization, and I can’t imagine doing my job without all of the information I learned this year,” said former student Rebecca Skupin Marcontell of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center.
Watch the video below from our recent certificate recipients to learn how the LINE program has helped them grow professionally and how it has benefited the organizations they serve.
The LINE program is offered at the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. To be a part of the next class, visit line.rice.edu. The application deadline is July 16.
