Goodbye, Martel Center

Goodbye

Goodbye

The time has come for us to say goodbye to the Speros P. Martel Center. While we are beyond excited to move into the new Anderson-Clarke Center, we will leave behind many fond memories of what we have affectionately dubbed, “The Trailer.”

Do you have a favorite memory from the Martel Center? Please share it in the comments section below.

Our offices will be closed on Friday, January 31 for the move. We look forward to welcoming you to the Anderson-Clarke Center across the street starting Monday, February 3.

  1. My experience with the Martel location is limited, but it is right across the street from a pretty good place to eat if you’re in the mood for mediterranean stuff! I hope Rebecca & John Freeman have more spacious digs!

  2. No clever Martel stories for me either, except that I couldn’t believe that I had to go to a trailer to get my parking pass when I first started taking non profit continuing education classes at Rice. I can’t wait to go inside and take a look around. The upper back patio seems to be a really cool space. By the way, what’s the name of that mediterranean restaurant, Jim?

  3. I am so, so happy! I’ve been looking forward to “the new building” for a really long time! I can hardly wait to see the Master Of Liberal Studies room!!! Yay!!!
